The famous red brick building was really the second red brick building built for the Birdville ISD. The one pictured was opened for the 1926 school year after the previous building burned. The two-story building had four classrooms on the lower floor and four classrooms and an auditorium on the second floor. The red brick building was demolished in 1956.
