She taught art lessons in the store and he made frames for her many customers. She worked closely with Birdville schools through their arts and crafts classes. The business was taken over by the Mason’s grandson John “Tripp” McGuffin sine Juanita Mason’s Death in 1988. The bombers crashed to the earth about two miles northeast of Birdville where Richland Plaza is today. One plane broke in two and dropped in a creek bed. The other dived into a nearby wheat field. Title A name given to the resource Rufus Snow Subject The topic of the resource Farmers; Public officers; Pioneers; Description An account of the resource Rufus “Rufe” Snow (1867-1957) was an area farmer, Tarrant County Commissioner (Nov. 1913- Jan. 1918), and married to Jessie Melbourne Snow (1870-1942). They had 5 children together. He built their home on the southeast corner of what is now Rufe Snow Drive and Shauna Drives. The Birdville-Watauga Road was renamed Rufe Snow Drive in his honor. The Snow Heights Addition was also named for him.
