Description
Dairy Kreem Drive-In was the first drive-in in the newly developed North Richland Hills area. Haly Parchman (1894-1986) built the drive-in on his land facing Grapevine Highway. The specialties were burgers and malts. A sign on the side of the building beckons “Welcome travelers- fill up free ice water.” There were very few places to stop as one traveled from Fort Worth to Grapevine at that time. North Richland Hills Baptist Church now occupies the land where Dairy Kreem once was.
